WARNING – GEMTRUE APEX TESTING PROBE

IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE USE

The testing probe contains sensitive internal components and must be handled carefully.

Proper Operation:

• Position the probe correctly against the item being tested.

• Apply only light, gentle pressure to activate the test switch.

• Hold for approximately 2 seconds, or until the result appears on the screen.

• Release once the result is displayed.

• Never press forcefully, abruptly, or repeatedly.

HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGE:

• Avoid excessive pressure or sudden impact.

• Never use the probe to push, pry, or handle objects.

• Do not drop the unit or strike the probe against hard surfaces.

• If the switch does not activate easily, check positioning. Never force it.

IMPORTANT WARRANTY NOTICE:

Damage caused by improper use, excessive pressure, failure to follow operating instructions, accidental drops, or physical damage to the probe is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Always handle the probe gently to ensure reliable operation and prevent unnecessary damage.

A. Battery Usage
• Charge the tester fully before use. Low battery may affect accuracy. Recharge when the battery icon reaches the last red bar.
• Avoid using the tester while charging to prevent reducing battery life.

B. Charging

• The front power light turns red when charging and green when fully charged.
• Required charger: DC 5V / Minimum 0.5A (does not support PD fast charging).

C. Retesting
• Wait for the result to clear before retesting.
• Allow stones to cool between tests to prevent heat buildup, which may affect results.

D. Testing Stones
• This tester is designed for testing CVD / HPHT / Type IIa, Moissanite, Natural Diamond, Simulant, and Cubic Zirconia (CZ) / Glass.

E. Stone Colour Range
• Optimized for polished stones with D to M color range.
• Stones outside this range or unpolished stones may yield inaccurate results.

F. Stone Cut and Size

• Minimum testing size: 0.05 ct+.
• Fancy-shaped stones may cause inaccurate results.
