A closed-beam, desktop Energy Dispersive XRF Spectrometer designed for jewelers, appraisers, precious metal buyers, and manufacturers. Its silicon drift detector (SDD) provides fast, non-destructive analysis with surface results comparable to a fire assay without damaging the jewelry. It features a bright touchscreen, a precise 3mm testing area, and a fully enclosed chamber for zero radiation exposure. Test results can be exported onto a printable page for documentation or customer records. The GEMORO® XRF Assay Lab determines the percentage of each element, thoroughly measuring an area 3mm in diameter while reaching a robust depth of 10-20 microns. Five times the typical depth of gold plating which has a thickness of only 1-3 microns.
